Two Espers Go Undercover

The mission itself was simple:

Foil an attempted robbery at some rich guy's villa.

The parts itself were simple:

Socialite Arm Candy and Up-and-coming Actor.

They had been briefed and Shiho had read through the dossier with a touch of her hand and then promptly ignored the rest of the meeting. After all, she knows where the rest of the team will be stationed, what they're trying to protect, all its security protocols and passwords, as well as the people to look out for. Did she really need more than that?

So it had come as a surprise to her when she was all but assigned the role of one of the two parts. Sure, it meant a fancy party, a fancy dress budget, makeup and hair but it also meant playing along as one half of the couple with the other name brought up.

Zen.

She hears the rest but doesn't truly listen other than the fact that they'd need to being learning how to be comfortable together. Enough so that no one would doubt that one of them was the actor and the other was the arm candy. That the two of them were deeply in love and here to ask the rich guy-uncle to bless their union. But she could be professional even if she could also be a gremlin and she tucks her hair behind her ear on their very first dry-run.
