Call Me Out Post
Go on, underestimate me. That should be fun.
Rainesburg is a castle where you can do as you like.
I'd roast you, but mama says you can't burn trash.
The Upperyard is a peaceful country. There is a place here for a bird that can't fly and a stupid cat. Have faith in the Upperyard.
Its bottom is wide. | |

for her highness miss Anya F.
he'd been sneaking up on a mob boss' hideout when a tiny little girl with pink hair showed up, not to mention her giant dog.]
...What the hell...
no subject
Bond skids to a fluffy stop and Anya has to grab onto him to stop herself from tumbling right off. Both dog and little girl are looking up at him before Anya brings a finger up to her mouth.]
Shh. Are you also here for the boss? [She fully thinks this is amazing and fun, sorry]
no subject
[he's frantically looking around because one, what if she's led them to him??? and two WHERE THE HELL ARE HER PARENTS?!]
Now shoo, get out of here. You and Toto, go on.
no subject
She can't let him just shoo her out of here or find her parents. So she looks him up and tries to look him down but it's futile when you're five. Either way, she tries her best to make it seem like she's a seasoned agent too, like she's his equal.]
Not Toto. Bond. And I'm.... [Anya has to think about it, clearly making this up on the fly.] .... I'm James. Agent James. [To collaborate, Bond gives an unsure wag of his tail and a whuff. He's seen how this is going to go and he's trying his best to be a Good Boy but this is very stressful ok]
no subject
You're a little brat. [he insists.] You got that from the movies! At least be creative. There's no fun here, just boring stuff, alright?
no subject
But at the very least though he's irritated he isn't actively trying to get her to leave. So she has to convince him that she'll help!]
...If you wanna get info... I, James can help.
no subject
[he isn't considering this, and he is a little worried!! but this is also kind of funny. his life is so bad]
no subject
She stops and her brows furrow deeply while she concentrates, sorting through the noise of the city and the random people interacting in the base, and latches onto information that seems useful to this five year old.]
...the plan... and all their doctorments [documents...] are on the third floor. [After she says this both her and Bond look up at him expectantly. He's proud of them, right? He'd better be proud!]
no subject
what she says
he doubts a lot]
You can't even say documents. How do you know? You been in there?
no subject
HOW RUDE]
I can! Do... Docurements. [Nailed it.] And that's not important! Anya has insider info! And that's more than you know, Mister!

Daniel... Hender-..... Thunderson? [A pause.]
...But why is he the fourth? [She looks up at Badou, expecting an answer to this question.]
no subject
[Badou pauses]
Hmmm. You just peeped in the window, didn't you? Seriously, kid, this isn't a game. You're gonna get killed-- you don't want your dog to die, do you?
For Shiho!
But this is the worst suit I have!
[ He says making his excuses to his darling wife as they wait in the reception hall. Etiquette dictates that when invited to a wedding to never -ever- wear something nicer than the bride, same rule also applies to the groom. The groomsmen are fair game, but Sam clearly showed up in something that would make people talk. ]
It's not my fault he's got bad taste! You can't blame that on me.
[ Or the amount of money that he has to afford a custom tailored tuxedo. ]
no subject
[It's definitely a problem.
The problem here being that her husband looked too handsome in his custom-tailored tuxedo. Which wouldn't normally be a problem but even with Shiho dressed in an understated grey-silver halter dress (but also perfectly tailored and suiting her to a T) they definitely overshadowed the pair that were actually getting married today.]
No one's blaming it on you, Sam... [If anything she found him distracting.]
Then I guess you'll just have to hold on tight to me and make sure everyone knows you're with me?
no subject
[ He grimaced but immediately does as she suggested and slipped to her side, a hand going to her lower back. ]
I can't believe this. I can't believe I'm having a problem like this. Unbelievable!
Remind me to have at least one mediocre suit made once we're done here.
[ They could just leave. Sure they were invited by two politician's, but Sam wasn't about to go and do that because of who their hosts were. He did the catering, so it's only natural he'd have to see things through to the end, much to his overly dressed chagrin. ]
no subject
He seems bothered though so she leans her head lightly against his shoulder as she replies bluntly:]
No way. My husband shouldn't have to dress like that while I have any say in it.
no subject
On one hand, he'll labeled a douche for looking better than the groom and groomsmen, and on the other hand he may piss off Shiho.
Actually, when he thinks about it he already knows which is the greater evil. Sorry groomsmen. ]
Mmmmmmm but the mom of the groom will get mad at meeee....
[ Again, still nothing compared to his wife but still uncomfortable to deal with. His whinning is interrupted by the vicar coming into the hall and calling for everyone to enter the chapel. ]
Oh thank goodness! Can we sit in the back at least?
no subject
[And that's that. Sorry not sorry, Mom of the Groom. With the sound of the vicar coming into the hall she's leaning into him again, and starting to walk with the rest of the crowd.]
Hm... I guess we probably should. We can't have you stealing too much of the spotlight.
no subject
Oh man...
[ Sam groaned and hid his face as the mother of the groom passed. ]
Oh she just gave me a look. Not a good one.
[ But rather than just sit there and grimace, he immediately looped his arm around Shiho's to keep her in place. Just in case. ]
no subject
[Shiho isn't going to fight the Groom's Mom, Sam! She has some measure of self-control. Even if her smile is downright cherubic as she leans against her husband, more than happy to show the entire world that yes her husband is a ten today in his suit and that ten belonged to her.
To Sam though... she leans in to whisper:]
You know, I bet it would help if you paid more attention to your cute, amazing wife and not to some random woman you're not going to have to see again after this.
no subject
Mostly wondering that was a half threat and if he was in trouble. It didn't sound like a threat, but it also had made him wonder if he had messed up somehow, maybe by not paying attention to her enough. He was also torn by following proper social decorum. Behaving appropriately, not standing out during weddings, and not shamelessly flirting with his wife whilst the stars of the show were tying the knot. There was also the factor to consider that getting Shiho to walk to the beat of someone that wasn't a friend or friendly felt like pulling teeth, and looking over at her dress....okay, at least she wasn't wearing white.
But will he really not see her again? He serves a lot of clients and they also change every other week. Is it really likely she won't hire him? Actually, she might not given how much she glared at him just now. ]
You know, you're right. As always.
[ And he sits upright, waiting for the ceremony to proceed. Uncomfortable because of the situation, but at least the old lady wasn't on her mind anymore. Just his wife and her sexy dress and cute face. Not sure if that's better or worse. ]
no subject
[He doesn't have to be in trouble as long as he doesn't keep looking at the Groom's Mom. As far as Shiho's concerned if he really needed another client, she'd be happy to pull A Nepotism and hire him to cater a full, multi-course lunch at her company.
Shiho though is giving him a bright smile as she slips her arm through his.]
Of course.
[Besides, they're not the ones getting married. And for all that they were stunning together, especially today, no one was really here to ogle them. They shouldn't be, they'd be terrible friends and wedding guests if they weren't here to honour the actual couple getting married.
Shiho isn't about to tell him to focus. Knowing him he'd tell her that he was focused, just on her. So instead she whispers to him,]
It's pretty nice, isn't it? Remember when we got married...?
no subject
[ He relaxed and snuggled a little closer, remembering how she looked in her dress. And how he flipped Hyoubu off as they passed the aisle. ]
Looking at the turn out here though made me glad ours was small. This feels a little claustrophobic in places.
[ The guest list is huge and the prep he had to do with his team was long and arduous, but he's confident they can manage without him. ]
Nice venue though.
[ As the music started and everyone rose to their feet as the bride walked down the aisle and to the groom, flower girls leading the way and ring bearers following in suit, he picks up something else in the backgroind. Its very faint but he's quick to dismiss it as they return to their seats to start the ceremony. The strange sound however does persist, a static like noise that comes and goes. He thinks its familiar but he can't quite pin it. ]
